MOOD BOARDS

Below are a few inspirational concepts and ideas for themes. I love creating mood boards to represent a specific style, feeling, and to convey a concept.

"California Darks"

"California Darks" is a mood board I created on Adobe Illustrator and pulled the images from stock photography sites. Since I've been living in the Golden State for the past few years, I was inspired by the variety of design elements that this gorgeous state has to offer.

From rugged landscapes, to LA sunsets and city life, to remote beaches and intricate succulents - I feel like this board captures the state's different feelings and moments while cast in a dark light. Since the state is always baked in sunlight, I chose an alternative view and one cast in shadow and night.

As someone that loves high contrast and moody tones, I created this board to show an unconventional view of CA.

"Beige Beach Days"

I love to exhibit contrast and wanted to create a board in the other direction of "California Darks" to display a more delicate and warm feeling.

On the other side of the spectrum, "Beige Beach Days" illustrates a warm, soft textured, and comfy beach feel. As I'm always inspired by costal living, this board pulls colors from the neutral tones of the sand, wood grain, and plants. I wanted the board to have a cozy and relaxing feeling with peaceful elements of a book, feeling the sand on your feet, soft rocks, and of course a soft blanket and a cup of coffee to cozy up too.
