MIXED MEDIA
Featured here is a gallery of art pieces I've created over the past 10 years. They range from graphite drawings, to etchings, and mixed media. I've also explored a few different forms of sculpture.

High contrast and detail are always elements of design that I have loved since I first started drawing. My favorite compositions to create have always been in black and white or with limited color palettes. Despite this, I still love playing with ranges of color and exploring the reaches each spectrum has to offer.

SCULPTURE - YOGIC FORMS
I've drawn the human form thousands of times, but for this project I created the figures from thin pieces of natural reed which is traditionally used to weave baskets.

I used the same principles of drawing the figure to create the forms - starting with the essential lines you'd begin with when first sketching and then mapping out the rest with pieces of reed. The yogic forms took their poses in 2016.
ABSTRACT FORMS
This sculptural form was created out of plaster in 2011. I started with a block of plaster and chiseled and sanded the form until I reached a sense of movement and flow.
